The trip and the honeymoon began in Istanbul. The couple explored to city of Istanbul, and they began their celebration of the new marriage.
The couple spent several days in Istanbul. They enjoyed walking hand in hand through the streets of Istanbul as they explored the neighborhoods of Taksim, Eminönü, Ayakapi, Balat, Galata and Karaköy.
11.11.2023 was the special day for the Barfields, but it was also the 100th anniversary of Ataturk’s death. All of Istanbul was colored by the flag, murals and posters celebrating the founder of the Turkish Republic. It was a special time to be in the capital of Turkey.
